Getting Ready: Your Role in Tax Preparation
The better organized you are at collecting and providing all necessary paperwork and documents to us, the more information we have to find spots to save or make you money in the least amount of time possible.
The first step is to bring us your 2015 tax return (if we didn’t file on your behalf of course). We will analyze your last year’s tax return for FREE. And, if we find any changes that could result in money for you, we can easily file an amended tax return on your behalf.
Now, it’s time to focus on 2016. Get organized! Start by:
- Gathering our information returns
- Bundle your receipts
- Collect any charitable donation receipts
- Decide what you would want to do with a tax refund
Then, make an appointment with one of our tax specialists to hand over the documents and we’ll take it from there.
